As a business, Moorit collects and processes a few different forms of personal data in the course of our business. Any personal information we hold on you helps us run our business, and we will never sell your information with other organisations, companies or businesses. We may share your information with some third parties which we use to deliver our services, for example with Shopify where this website is hosted, or Royal Mail to ship your order; these are detailed in this policy. Another reason we may also share your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so.

We respect your personal data and privacy and this privacy policy will explain what personal information we collect from you as well as why we collect it. 

Online website

You are on our online website now, http://mooritmag.com and if you are not in Europe, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse our site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to our site, and information about how you interact with the website. 

Under the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), European customers visiting our online store must give consent before they can be tracked. If you consent in our banner we will collect the above information, otherwise only essential cookies will be used. We collect the above information through the following technologies:

  •  “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

We use the above device information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Online shop

If you make a purchase, or attempt to make a purchase, in our shop we will collect personal information through Shopify which allows us to communicate with you about your order and fulfil your order, including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations. This information may include your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and phone number. We will maintain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We use a third party payment processor, Shopify Payments, to process your purchase payment. Shopify Payments collects, uses and processes your information, including your payment information, in accordance with their privacy policies. We will share your shipping information with the company providing the shipping method you select at time of purchase (e.g. Royal Mail).

Email newsletter

We collect your name and email address when you opt in to our email newsletters. We use Shopify and a third party application, Flodesk, to process this information. Flodesk also provides email analytics for us to assess newsletter performance, however this is anonymised. You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us at hello@bipocinfiber.com. Accessing your data
